RC-51 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Please read over instructions, if you feel installation is beyond your ability, please contact your local dealer.

• Remove seat complete tail unit, battery and black inner fender tray. The back of the bike should be just the bare sub frame!

• Trim the black inner fender tray as per photo and reinstall tray and battery. Note: the 2000 model will use two zip ties to help hold in place. Remove lock, clip and bracket from discarded portion of tray.

• Zip tie the three black relays to the sub frame reinstall the real cowl but do not bolt into place as of yet.

• Wire in your strip turn signals at this time. If you purchased your under tail with turn signals integrated in the brake light disregard this step.

• Install under tail into place and install the to screws on bottom, hook up turn signals and test for proper function. Check for proper fit and tighten and hardware.

• Unclip brake light sockets and wire in new brake lights using connectors as per photo. Wire in as suck: green wire from bike to black wire of brake light. Black with brown strip wire from bike to brown wire of brake light. Green with yellow strip of bike to white wire of brake light. Turn signals are the yellow wire, your bike's turn signal power wire is green for the right and Orange-Yellow for left.

• Place computer in proper place and hold in place with factory black rubber band 200-2001. 2002-up see photo.
